Fire Bad, Tree Pretty

To say it's been a brutal weekend would be a colossal understatement. It was the mother of all DORMA weekends, and I wasn't even any of the work! (But, between you and me? A weekend with 2 kids and my mother-in-law ain't exactly a picnic either) ;)

So, in lieu of words, a photo-essay.

The old carpet. Eeeeeeeeewwwwww

Rippin' it out! Buh-Bye, carpet!

Oy Vey

A few nails...

Phil's Dad, hard at work

Mmmmm, shiny....

The living room!

My new dining room

The hallway

As you can see, things aren't quite back to normal. But we're getting there! We're not 100% done, but still, it's close enough...

Oh, and I turned the heel on my Miscellaneous-Man socks ;)

Happy Knitting Everyone!

nice toe in that last picture ;)

ffiou let me tell you, this, hard wood floor = hard work !!

3 guys, 2 rooms -> friday evening, saturday 8 to 18, sunday 8 to 18h, and monday 18h to 20h30 (sorry neighbours about the noise but it had to be done!).

The blog is missing Emilie and maxime's video running around when they first saw it screaming " I love it ! I love it ! " ... made it all worth it !!

1. Am I the only one confused about the title?

2. Is it true Fringe got cancelled? Now that I've caught up on the 3 eps (haven't seen this week's yet). Still need info on the last 5 min of eps 2 and 3.

3. The floors look great! You guys did a fantastic job! Are all these renos to increase value to sell, or to make living there more fun?

4. I have to say it...that guy got nailed! [insert Barney handslap here]

p.s. that last one really only makes sense if you watch How I Met Your Mother...which everyone should do.

The floor looks fabulous! We need new carpets in our place. Maybe next year.
